On November 20^th 2016, Sunday, MMD held the official presentation of the "Sports for the masses" project. The press conference and presentation were visited by Alexey Vorobyev's colleagues and friends from the music and film industry: Ingrid Olerinskaya, Andrey Kryzhny, Timur Solovyev, Ekaterina Vladimirova, Markus Rivva and the famous sportswoman Anastasiya Grebenkina.

The venue housed open training sessions with professional athletes, who inspired participants to new achievements. Free time between sessions could be spent at the healthy food bar or at a lecture in dietology.


After this the winners of the first wave of the project were awarded. They won Merсedes-Benz automobiles, trips to Miami and a townhouse in Moscow. Many participants cried tears of joy when awarded. The happy participants received certificates, thanked the project creators and danced merrily at Alexey Vorobyev's concert, which was the final chord of the night.

The "Sports for the Masses" project is free for physically challenged people. 29 parathlete participants will receive travel certificates for their families.

For a week from 14 till 20 November 15% of funds received from ticket sales for the second wave will be transferred to the "Heart of phoenix" fund – a charity fund supporting teenagers from orphanages. 50 children will be able to visit a special sports and entertainment programme, organised by the fund.
