The final competition of the largest start-up accelerator in Russia and Eastern Europe, GenerationS, took place on April 27 at MMD
in Moscow. Three prize winners shared a prize of 16 million rubles and received an opportunity to sign long-term contracts.
The main GenerationS event traditionally bore a format of a technological show and brought together dozens of entrepreneurs, Russian and foreign investors, corporate representatives and other participants of the innovative ecosystem.
35 best GenerationS-2017 start-ups from the energy industry, metallurgy, fashion and media, argriculture, production and financial technologies, and dual-use technologies presented their projects to a large public and competed for the final prize.
The key even of the final was a presentation of the seven finalist teams – one per each industrial field. The committee chose three prize winners who shared the grand-prix of the finals – 16 million roubles.
